The mission of the St. Bernadette Respect Life Committee is to promote, through worship, prayer, and educational activities, a consistent ethic of life that advocates the sanctity of every human life from conception to natural death. The committee endorses the basic Gospel teaching that every human life has its origin in the heart of God.
Major concerns today include:
- Abortion
- Scientific Embryo Research
- Euthanasia
- Contraception
- Violence to Children
- Domestic Abuse
- Death Penalty
- Issues of the Mentally and Physically Handicapped
- War
