It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that we need to inform you of the sudden passing of Father Gregory's brother, Mr. Fidelis Anatuanya. Please keep Mr. Anatuanya, his family, and Father Gregory in your prayers.
"Lord as we mourn the sudden death of our Brother, show us the immense power of your goodness and strengthen our belief that Fidelis Anatuanya has entered into your presence. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen."
All are invited to participate in Mass at a different farm camp each Wednesday evening. We meet in the front church parking lot at 6:45 pm and leave together for the camp at 7:00. Masses are held outdoors and a dinner is shared afterward. Please join us for fellowship. Contact: Nancy Hagan (919) 552-2922
Thank you to all who helped make the farmworker dinner a great success on Sunday, June 29. We had plenty of food and many volunteers. God bless all who contributed their hospitality to the more than 110 farmworkers who joined us for Mass and the meal.
Welcome Fr. Gregory to our parish. We hope your stay with us will be enjoyable, long and spiritual.
Migrant ministry requests donations of men's clothing: baseball caps, pants (waist sizes 32-36), t-shirts, long sleeve dress shirts, shorts and shoes size 8.5-10. Clothes may be new or used; we ask that they be washed and in good condition. Farmworkers are allowed one small duffle bag on the bus trip from Mexico to North Carolina and are in need of clothing upon arrival. Donations labeled,"Farmworker Outreach" may be left by the kitchen any Sunday after Mass or brought to the Main Office, attn. Nancy Hagan, during regular office hours. Tax receipt available upon request. Thank you for reaching out to these hardworking members of our faith community.
Workers will soon begin cutting tobacco. We are in continual need of long sleeved dress shirts which the men wear in the fields to protect themselves from the sun and from green tobacco sickness, which develops in reaction to the nicotine in the plant. Please bring donations to the church office. Tax receipt available upon request.
